“The Smithy provides the perfect setting for a week’s exploration of Anglesey. The house is beautifully restored and very spacious. On a cold day, the large fireplace was the main attraction and hours were spent reading and relaxing in the conservatory. If you get there first, make sure you bag the main bedroom which is absolutely outstanding. We definitely plan to return!"

The cottage is wonderful, the log fire is made for cosy evenings, the whole property is lovely and complete with a superb history. ​"We visit Anglesey regularly for day trips to Newborough Warren & Beaumaris, but never holidayed here – what a lovely unique cottage in a very peaceful location to have our first. We loved the wood burning stove in the fantastic main room, so relaxing and comforting, loved the ‘farm house’ style kitchen too. Great food at The Ship Inn, Red Wharf Bay, loved our warm sunny afternoon at Moelfre especially the tea and homemade chocolate and victoria sandwich cakes at ‘Anne’s Pantry’. The Hidden Gardens at Plas Cadnant are a fantastic surprise at the end of a lovely driveway. Well worth a visit to a garden lover. Great holiday."

We have felt so at home here, such a beautiful house, and every facility you could wish for. Don’t miss going to Newborough beach and little island (Llandwyn) off it, it’s just magical.
